People can’t get enough of the new Kia Optima

At your local Kia dealership in Bloomington, 2010 Kia Soul models and other fine Kia autos will soon have another ‘friend’ joining them in the showroom: the all new Optima.  It is one fantastic sedan that is already wowing those who have had the chance to check it out!

As a good rule of thumb, you should never judge by looks alone, but the all new styling of the 2011 Optima puts this general rule under scrutiny.  It is possibly the most stylish mid-size sedan and that says a lot, since this class has a lot of strong competitors.  The designers for Kia have made the Optima with a clean, elegant exterior that brings to mind some luxury class sedans.  It seems these days that the cleanly designed, sloping roofline autos are what’s “in” when it comes to what auto buyers are looking for.

Another feature that like when I take a look at the new Optima is the front.  Its design is really eye-catching, with the “angry” look it seems to make, as though it’s trying to say “Get out of my way”.  The black mesh grille and upward sloping headlights make the Optima truly stand out.   Those who are little more versed in auto design say that 2011 Optima has some European influence in the exterior styling.

Taking a look at the performance of the Optima, it comes with a pretty nice engine in the base model, that being a 2.4 liter GDI (Gasoline Direct Injected), four-cylinder engine capable of 200 HP.  Though it’s not as powerful as some other models, such as a used Kia Borrego, Bloomington area residents can find through Extreme Kia, these are good numbers that will allow for a nice ride behind the wheel of a sedan.  Moreover, the 2011 Optima will come with a six-speed manual transmission if you buy the base (LX) model.  Upgrade to an SX or EX and you can enjoy a six-speed automatic with Sportmatic manual control.  A sporty ride in an attractive car is combination that should not leave you disappointed!

The 2011 Optima is being rolled out and it’s sure to impress those who get behind it’s wheel and check out it’s beauty.
