Kia Forte earns title “Top Safety pick” by IIHS
The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety announced that the new 2010 Kia Forte won the Top Safety pick award for 2010 making it the third Kia vehicle to receive one of the nonprofit organization’s highest recommendations. That says a lot about how far Kia has come in recent years. To receive IIHS’ Top Safety Pick status, a car must receive the top score of “Good” in frontal-offset, side-impact, roof-strength and rear crash tests. It also must have stability control.
The new Forte Bloomington dealership knows that with this title under their belt, buyers will come from all over to see what the buzz is all about. “The Kia brand is growing rapidly in the U.S. thanks to new vehicles such as the Forte that embody our core philosophies of quality, value, style and safety,” said Michael Sprague, vice president, marketing of Kia Motors America (KMA). “Forte offers buyers a youthful and dynamically styled vehicle with an impressive array of standard safety features, and being honored as an IIHS ‘Top Safety Pick’ award winner furthers its position as a top contender in its segment and a vehicle that offers consumers the entire package.”
Bloomington preowned Kia Amanti drivers are excited to see what Kia has in store for them next. Kia Motors is in the midst of a dramatic, design-led transformation, which has been delivering dynamically styled vehicles at exactly the right time, contributing to the brand’s continued gains in U.S. market share.
The Forte, which replaces the outgoing Kia Spectra, is equipped with a host of standard safety features such as front seat and side curtain airbags; four-wheel disc brakes with an anti-lock brake system (ABS), electronic stability control (ESC), and even a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS). The new Forte Bloomington dealership is excited to add the 2010 Kia Forte to safety-minded buyers’ list. I think it is safe to say that the Forte competes with brands like the Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla. With the 2010 Top Safety Pick award and a very reasonable price tag, even the most dedicated Honda and Toyota followers will want to take a look at the 2010 Kia Forte.
