In order to achieve this distinction, the Sorento has electronic stability control and earned “Good” ratings (highest possible) in front, rear, side, and rollover impact crash tests.

Beyond the title from the IIHS, the 2011 Sorento earned “excellent” ratings from Consumer Reports thanks in part to its firm ride and smooth automatic transmission. The overall score of 82 put the Sorento third among small and midsize SUVs and CUVs tested by Consumer Reports. You really can’t go wrong with the Kia Sorento!
